10. Use a Credit Card with Rewards There are hundreds of credit cards that offer rewards, whether they are monetary or airline miles.  If you haven’t already, consider using one that will reward you 2% or more each month.  Use it for groceries, gas, bills, etc.  Then, pay it off each month and watch your Disney savings grow!

9. Plan Your Vacation Before Your Child Turns 3 Kids under 3 years of age can do almost everything for free at Disney.  Hotel, tickets and dining are all free of charge for our littlest mouseketeers!

8. Buy Disney Souvenirs Before Your Trip There’s an old saying: Everything at Disney begins with a line and ends with a gift shop!  Haha!  So true!  You can’t avoid them.  However, you can save money on souvenirs by purchasing some items before you go, at places like Wal-Mart, Target or on-line at disneystore.com or amazon.com. 

7. Stay Offsite It’s really quite simple.  Staying off-site (that is outside Disney property) will save you money on your accommodations.  Plus, there are some nice resorts very close to Disney.  In addition, if you plan on doing other things beside just Disney, off-site hotels will put you closer to those attractions.  Photo Credit: Hilton

Stay Onsite Wait!  What?  Am I contradicting myself?  No way!  If you want to stay at a Disney resort (and you should), stay at a value or moderate level Disney hotel, to save money.  These resorts are fun, well-themed and clean.  Plus, transportation from the airport and all around Disney is free!  If you have your own car, parking ...

5. Grocery Delivery Save money on breakfast, snacks and drinks by getting groceries delivered to your room.  There are several great options for grocery delivery.  Do some research and place your order!

Tickets Purchase multi-day tickets.  With Disney, the more days you purchase, the less you pay per day.  A one-day ticket is ~$100.  A 10-day ticket is ~$45/day.  Also, unless you are a Disney World veteran, don’t purchase the Park Hopper option.  It’s not really necessary, in my opinion.  Personally, I quit using it years ago.  Traveling between parks is ...
