Meeting beloved Disney characters is a major part of what makes a Disney vacation so magical. While many guests take note on who they look forward to meeting and greeting, there are a lot of unanswered questions when it comes to making sure you know the ins and outs of a character meet and greet. Here are ten things they don’t tell you about meeting Walt Disney World Characters.

10. Special Events

There are a few special events that include character meet and greets that you wouldn’t normally get to participate in on a regular day at the park. For example, man of the runDisney events include character meet and greets along the path with some rare characters and even parade performers (which you wouldn’t be able to meet during a parade on a normal day). Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are two other hard ticket events that incorporate some of the rare characters into their meet and greets, parades, and shows. This is a great way to get some really great photos and autographs from some classic and infrequent characters.
