2. Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno (The Boardwalk)

This amazing breakfast featuring Italian cuisine is a great way to meet some of the beloved characters from The Little Mermaid and Tangled. Say hello to Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel and Flynn Rider. Beware, one of these characters is truly a character, if you know what we mean! After a tray of delightful pastries is brought to your table, each decorated with tiny edible symbols from the animated features, you’ll choose an entrée to enjoy. Offerings include frittatas, scrambled eggs and a breakfast calzone (the calzone is amazing!). Be sure to ask for the Sunday gravy too.

Be Our Guest

1. Dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant (Magic Kingdom)

Ok, so this experience narrowly meets the criteria to be called a character meal. That’s because there’s only one character to meet, and he doesn’t walk around to your table. But you can meet the Beast from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast once you’ve finished your meal in either the West Wing, the Grand Ballroom or the Castle Gallery. After your meal, you will be directed to another room where the Beast greets Guests and poses for PhotoPass pictures. The first thing you must know about this dining experience is that it is one of the single most difficult reservations to score, so make sure to watch your calendar, and as soon as you are within the 180-day window, use the My Disney Experience app to book this amazing dinner!

The French cuisine is out of this world. You can choose from starters like mussels, a champagne vinaigrette salad and French onion soup (which is phenomenal!). Entrée offerings include wonderful selections like chicken breast, pan-seared tenderloin, shrimp and scallops and ratatouille. After the dining room has proudly presented your dinner, don’t skip dessert! There are many choices, and each is simply fantastic. And yes, you really can “try the gray stuff—it’s delicious!”

With so many dining experiences to choose from at the Walt Disney World Resort, there are definitely more than 10 we’re crazy about, but this list is sure to get you well on your way to becoming a Disney Dining Connoisseur! Bon Appetit!
