10 Planning Rules Disney Pros Always Follow

Epcot Monorail

8. Make Time for Transportation

Getting around the Disney World Resort takes time. Not only is it spread out, but it’s also crowded. Although the parks and resort hotels seem like they’re in close proximity to each other, the monorail and buses make several stops, so it may take you longer to get to your destination. Give yourself at least half an hour to get from your hotel to any location on property. Be sure to leave even earlier if you have a dining reservation at one of the parks or another resort hotel.
