1. Split the difference
If Magic Kingdom is overwhelmingly busy, leave the park after lunch and relax all afternoon at your resort then return after dark. While the evening show is going on, most guests are lining the streets to see the spectacle. Make the most of the more popular rides which see shorter lines at this time. Also, you can stay in the park after the evening show while most guests make a hasty exit.
If your time is limited, then you’ll probably want to stay in the park despite how busy it is. Just be “Disney-smart” – so check schedules, familiarize yourself with the map and make full use of the app. And take inspiration from some of your favorite characters too, and “Slinky” your way through the crowds, move like “Lightning” and make a “Dash” for the queues!
