9. Contact an authorized Disney vacation planner
Now that you’ve had a chance to look at your budget, contacting an authorized Disney vacation planner is the next step. These folks are here to help you, and it won’t cost you a dime extra! They are able to help you get the best deals, and are invaluable resources when trying to plan your meals, FastPasses, and everything in between. A good Disney authorized vacation planner can help you make decisions about accommodations, make suggestions for things your family may enjoy, and handle the reservations side of things for you.
8. Book accommodations
After budgeting and discussing your dates, then you should book a resort. Are you staying off property or on property? This will determine when you need to make reservations. If you’re staying on property, the sooner you can make a reservation, the better. This will allow you to make FastPass reservations a full month earlier than those staying off-property. You can also secure some great deals when you book further out, and if you’re booking through an authorized planner, they will watch to make sure you are getting the best possible deals on accommodations.
