10 Things You Should Never Do At Walt Disney World Resort

1. Be Rude to Cast Members

I’ve frequently seen guests arguing with cast members over things that he or she simply cannot control! Yelling at a cast member isn’t going to fix a broken ride, reduce the wait time, make your child taller, or change the weather. NONE of these things are the fault of a cast member, and no amount of berating them will make them able to change it. If you’re dealing with a situation that a cast member might be able to change, remember that you’re more likely to get help if you are patient and polite. I know your child was so excited to ride Space Mountain, but his vacation won’t be ruined if he isn’t tall enough this visit. And you certainly aren’t setting a good example for your child if you try to get around the rules or fight with the Cast Member!

It’s easy to have a great time at Disney World! Being prepared will keep you safe and comfortable as you explore. And making a simple effort to follow the rules and mind your manners will help everyone to enjoy the parks. Don’t forget to have a great time!

Laurel

Laurel took her first trip to Walt Disney World when she was only 18 months old and hasn’t stopped visiting since. Now she enjoys taking her own twins and husband as often as she can. And don’t tell the boys, but sometimes she goes without them, too.
