10 Tips for Choosing Where to Stay When Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort

8. Look near where you’ll be spending most of your time

Disney’s resorts are also broken up by the area they’re located in, which makes it easy to find resorts that will be near where you’ll be spending the majority of your trip. For instance, guests planning on visiting the Magic Kingdom often may want to consider the monorail resorts and the Wilderness Lodge, or Shades of Green if they are able to stay there (as it requires a military/government affiliation). For Epcot, Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club, Boardwalk Inn, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin are all within walking distance to the park, and other resorts can also be found closeby Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Disney Springs.
