101 Magical Tips for Your Walt Disney World Vacation

Kid Tips

39. Kids under three years old enjoy both free park admission and free buffet access!

40. Use Rider Swap for rides that have a height restriction. Cast members at the ride entrance will give those waiting out with the little one(s) a special Fast Pass so big people can all ride without waiting twice.

41. Use a sticker to cover the toilet flush sensor if you have a little one who is afraid of the loud noise.

42. Similarly, you can bring cotton balls to put in little ears during the fireworks if you think your kids will be scared.

43. Within the stroller parking zones cast members are constantly rearranging the strollers to minimize chaos. To spot your stroller easier, mark it with a bright ribbon or towel. (Or buy a balloon to tie to it, if you don’t mind spending the money.)

44. If you want toddlers to fall asleep, intentionally plan a cross-park stroller ride in the early afternoon. (e.g. Move from Tomorrowland to Frontierland) The motion lulls them to sleep.

45. If you plan to rent a stroller, consider an off-site vendor. You’ll have to lug it from place to place, but they’re usually cheaper overall.

46. Baby Care Centers are located in each of the parks and are equipped with microwaves, rocking chairs, and changing tables. These areas have supplies for purchase if you forget or run out of anything.

47. Reserve baby gear like cribs and bottle warmers through your resort to save space when you pack.

48. Write your cell phone number on a bandaid and stick it to your child’s upper arm if they don’t have it memorized.

49. There are some great play areas around the parks for little ones itching to get out of the stroller. Check your map or ask a Cast Member if you need help locating one.
