7. Meet the characters
Be sure to meet the characters when you visit the Magic Kingdom. Whether or not you have kids with you, or if you think itβs a good use of your time, meet at least one character. Meeting Disney characters is a magical experience for all ages, and is definitely something that helps βmakeβ a visit to the Magic Kingdom.
6. Take in all the details
As exciting as the rides can be, donβt miss the details because youβre so busy rushing from ride to ride. The park is beautifully designed (and decorated if youβre visiting for a holiday like Halloween or Christmas), and there are so many details you just donβt want to miss.
5. Do some shopping
The Magic Kingdom is home to some of the best attraction gift shops, where you can pick up gifts for rides like Space Mountain or Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as unique spots to pick up sweet treats like the Main Street Confectionary. You can even find Disney Dooney and Bourke items, Star Wars merchandise, and everything you need for the princess in your life all in the Magic Kingdom.
4. Donβt skip the shows
Remember that shows are attractions too, and the Magic Kingdom is full of shows that are worth seeing. The Carousel of Progress in Tomorrowland and the Country Bear Jamboree in Frontierland are Disney classics that are fun for the whole family. Additionally, be sure to pick up a times guide so you donβt miss live performances like Mickeyβs Royal Friendship Faire.
