A Walt Disney World vacation has never been cheap, but families planning to visit in late 2027 may want to take another look at their budgets.
Disney World has released ticket prices for November and December 2027, giving guests their first look at what some of the busiest dates of the year will cost.
Several parks will reach new record highs. But the biggest surprise doesn't come from a regular one-day ticket.
Add one popular ticket option, and the price climbs past a threshold Disney World has never crossed before.
For families purchasing multiple tickets, that could turn a single day in the parks into a four-figure expense before adding a hotel, food, Lightning Lane, merchandise, or other vacation costs.
And that's where the new numbers start getting difficult to ignore.

Disney World Is Already a Costly Vacation
Before looking ahead to 2027, the current ticket prices provide some perspective.
Disney uses date-based pricing, so guests don't pay the same amount every day. Prices vary based on the date and the theme park they choose.
In 2026, one-day Magic Kingdom tickets range from $139 to $209 before tax. Disney's Hollywood Studios tickets range from $139 to $204, while EPCOT tickets range from $129 to $209.
Disney's Animal Kingdom remains the least expensive of the four theme parks, with one-day admission ranging from $119 to $184.
Even those prices can add up to a substantial expense.
Four people purchasing $209 Magic Kingdom tickets would spend more than $800 on admission before taxes. That doesn't include a hotel, meals, transportation, merchandise, Lightning Lane access, or anything else that comes with a Disney World vacation.
By late 2027, the top end will climb again.
Disney World Sets New Ticket Highs for Late 2027
Guests visiting during November and December 2027 will see higher peak prices at several parks.
Magic Kingdom will reach $229 for a one-day ticket on its most expensive dates. EPCOT will also hit $229, matching Magic Kingdom at the top.
Disney's Hollywood Studios will reach $214, while Disney's Animal Kingdom will top out at $189.
A difference of $10 or $20 may not seem dramatic when looking at a single ticket. Multiply that amount across several family members, however, and the increase becomes much easier to notice.
Then there are ticket upgrades.
That's where the numbers take another major jump.

One-Day Ticket Soars Above $300
Park Hopper allows guests to visit multiple Disney World theme parks during the same day, but that flexibility comes at an additional cost.
On the most expensive 2027 date, a regular one-day Park Hopper ticket will cost $301, including taxes.
For four people to buy those tickets, admission alone could exceed $1,200.
That doesn't mean every Disney World guest will spend $301 per day. Multi-day tickets work differently, and the effective daily price decreases as guests purchase additional days. Someone staying for a week isn't simply paying the peak one-day Park Hopper price seven times.
Even with that distinction, crossing $300 for a one-day Park Hopper represents a notable new threshold.
Annual Passholders are also facing higher prices. Disney has increased prices across all four Annual Pass tiers, meaning frequent visitors aren't escaping the increases either.

Tickets Could Be Only Part of the Bigger Bill
The concern for families planning a 2027 trip doesn't stop at the front gate.
Hotel rooms, meals, drinks, transportation, merchandise, and optional upgrades all contribute to the final vacation price. Lightning Lane purchases can further increase that total for guests who want to reduce the time they spend in standby lines.
Disney also regularly adjusts prices throughout the resort.
With late 2027 still more than a year away, additional increases could eventually affect hotels, Lightning Lane, options, food, drinks, or merchandise.
A few extra dollars in several different places might not sound significant individually. Combined across an entire vacation, however, those increases can add hundreds of dollars to the final bill.

Families Will Have to Decide What Disney World Is Worth
Disney will offer new experiences that draw visitors in 2027.
Pueblo Esperanza at Disney's Animal Kingdom and portions of Monstropolis at Disney's Hollywood Studios will provide families with new reasons to plan trips.
The question is how much guests will be willing to spend to experience them.
Some families may respond by shortening their vacations, purchasing fewer park days, staying off-property, or skipping Lightning Lane purchases. Others could decide the overall price has simply climbed beyond what they're comfortable paying.
A $301 one-day Park Hopper won't represent the cost of every Disney World visit. But it shows just how high the ceiling has become.
By late 2027, Disney World will have plenty of new experiences to promote. Families will have to decide whether their vacation budgets can keep up.
