If you’re in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom and are looking for a great place to get a quick bite to eat, here are 3 reasons Pinnocchio’s Village Haus in Fantasyland is a great choice!

1. Great Food

One of the many quick-service restaurants in Magic Kingdom, guests can choose from an array of Italian and American favorites including flatbread pizzas, macaroni and cheese, Mediterranean salads and more. One of my favorites is the Caprese Flatbread topped with basil and balsamic vinegar while my 6 year old daughter favors the chicken nuggets and fries. Diners around us also raved about the meatball subs and Barbecue Chicken Flatbread. Pinocchio’s offers an array of dessert including gelato, yogurt, chocolate cake, iced coffee and other assorted beverages. In particular, the Blue Raspberry Slush has almost a cult following with Disney Insiders.

2. Great Atmosphere

Inside the quaint Village Haus, you’ll enjoy a festive atmosphere, Bavarian in decor with rough timbered ceilings and murals on the walls depicting some of your favorite characters from Pinnocchio. Guests can dine in the main hall, the Monstro Room – designed after an offstage gallery where puppeteers manipulate marionettes, or you can choose a table outdoors under an umbrella. Another feature to note is the birds-eye view diners have of guests boarding the boats for “It’s A Small World” from inside the Monstro Room. Personally, our family prefers sitting outside, where you can enjoy the general splendor of Fantasyland including the carousel.

3. Great Location

Overall, we found Pinocchio’s Village Haus a charming and delicious dining option even when the restaurant is crowded. It’s location makes it a convenient place to stop and enjoy a meal in Fantasyland. Menu items are $14 and under for adults and some Disney dining plans are accepted. Currently, the Village Haus serves lunch and dinner and reservations are not required.
