5. Sunscreen
Seasoned Disney-goers know that a sunburn can put a damper on a vacation faster than you can say ” Supercalifragilisticexpialidoc ious”. Sunscreen will also probably be more expensive in Disney World than it would back home, so stock up beforehand! (Side note: if you have sensitive skin, this is not the time to try a new product. Stick with what you know works for your skin on a trip!). There are plenty of lovely benches and stone walls to sit on in the parks, so you can always find somewhere convenient to reapply–and reapplying is an absolute must! No one wants to spend their vacation struggling with sunburned feet, shoulders, knees (which could make stairs difficult), et cetera–and no one wants to suffer from the discomfort that said sunburns also provide. If you do get sunburned, a cloth soaked in cool milk can help, as can aloe vera–and drink lots of water and keep your skin covered to help it successfully start the healing process! Disney magic is powerful, but a bad sunburn can almost always make things more difficult–so come prepared, and hold each other accountable when it comes to reapplying!
