5 Things to Consider When Choosing Which Disney Resort to Stay At

Boardwalk

4. Proximity to parks

While you are significantly closer to the parks by staying on property in the first place, every resort is closer to one particular park. If you know that your family wants to spend a majority of time at Magic Kingdom, you may decide to stay at one of the resorts that has monorail or boat access so you can get there quicker. If your family wants to spend more time at Epcot, you should consider staying at a resort on Disney’s Boardwalk, which allows you to walk to Epcot and enter through the International Gateway entrance. You won’t be able to be close to all four parks, but you can decide which park means the most to you and pick a resort based on that.
