8 Dos and Don’ts For Your Walt Disney World Trip

3. DO Pack Water and Snacks

Disney allows any type of food and beverage to enter the parks, with the exception of alcohol. Packing plenty of water and snacks in a light cross body bag helps to keep you going and also tends to distract small children while they wait in lines.

DON’T Forget to Refill

Refillable water bottles are a great idea at Disney World. The Florida heat makes it imperative that you keep hydrating throughout the day. There are plenty of water fountains around, and you can always request cold ice water from any counter service place for free (then pour that in your bottle). During the hot months, there are even ice water refill stations set up near some of the counter service restaurants.

Melissa

Melissa resides on Florida's beautiful Space Coast with her husband and four Disney-loving boys. She frequently allows skipping school for Disney World visits...because making memories is more important than math. Their family has also been seen on HGTV's hit show "My Yard Goes Disney."
