8 Dos and Don’ts For Your Walt Disney World Trip

6. DO Stay for Fireworks

You’ve never seen fireworks like Disney does fireworks! And each park’s nighttime spectacular is different and special in its own way. Waiting for the big show makes for a late night for little ones, but it’s definitely worth it!

DON’T Skip an Afternoon Rest

To make late night fireworks enjoyable instead of miserable, you might want to consider going back to your resort for a little chill time or nap time. If that’s seems like too much, don’t feel bad about finding a shady spot to sit for a while (possibly with an iced coffee?). If you’ve got toddlers who fall asleep, use their nap to sit a spell and rock them gently in their stroller. Taking a little break helps to recharge your crew for later!

Melissa resides on Florida's beautiful Space Coast with her husband and four Disney-loving boys. She frequently allows skipping school for Disney World visits...because making memories is more important than math. Their family has also been seen on HGTV's hit show "My Yard Goes Disney."
