7. Check closures and refurbishments beforehand
Nothing ruins a park day more than finding out your favorite ride is down for refurbishment or, even worse, has been closed for one reason or another. It’s always a good idea to check out what has closed since you last visited or what rides will be undergoing refurbishments and when. There are certain rides, like Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, that go down for refurbishments around the same time every year.
