How many times have you thought about packing up your stuff and moving to Disney? I think about this almost every day. It sounds ridiculous, right? Well, maybe not. Here is our list of eight utterly compelling reasons why moving to Disney makes perfect sense. But please, read this article at your own risk. This list is so convincing, so completely irrefutable, that you may find yourself booking a one-way ticket to the Happiest Place on Earth.

8. There are tons of great jobs

I know. Disney is expensive. But fear not! There are literally thousands of jobs available in practically every possible field. Are you a doctor or nurse? Disney needs you at their employee health centers. Do you enjoy working with children? Disney needs you at their resort child care centers! Are you skilled at working with computers? Disney employs a huge IT department. Are you a retail worker? Get a job in one of the hundreds of Disney merchandise shops. You will be able to find a job and make money to pay for your new Disney lifestyle!

7. You can get fabulous food pretty much anywhere

What sort of food are you craving? Whatever it is, you can have it, and it will be delicious! Barbecue? Whispering Canyon Café or Flame Tree will satisfy your desires! Mexican? Head to the San Angel Inn. Are you a carnivore craving sustenance? Try the Yachtsman Steakhouse or Le Cellier. Need a quick bite? Sunshine Seasons will do the trick! Looking for a luxurious dining experience customized to your every culinary whim? Victoria & Albert’s is the place for you! You’d be hard-pressed to think of any food specialty you can’t find in somewhere in Disney.

6. It’s perfectly clean and utterly beautiful

Anywhere you go in Walt Disney World, you will notice a veritable army of people cleaning and beautifying. The streets are always clean, the flowers are always in bloom, and the paint is always fresh. Who wouldn’t want to live in a place like that?

5. You can see world-class entertainment anytime you want

Who needs the Great White Way when you watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade or The Festival of the Lion King performed each and every day. There’s also La Nouba in Downtown Disney, Jeweled Dragon Acrobats at the Chinese Pavilion in Epcot, the Dapper Dans in the Magic Kingdom, and Irish step dancing at Raglan Road. There is something to entertain everyone somewhere in Walt Disney World.

4. It’s way more wholesome than…everywhere else

Frankly, I’m finding it difficult to take my daughter to even the most seemingly innocuous places lately without feeling the need to shield her eyes or cover her ears! There isn’t anywhere in Disney you can’t take your children for fear of hearing or seeing something inappropriate. All of the entertainment is wholesome and appropriate, the characters are beloved by children everywhere, and Disney has some rather stringent policies regarding behavior and dress codes. And if you don’t behave, they throw you out, making more room for the wholesome crowd!

3. You can experience numerous world cultures all in one convenient location

Where else but Disney can you begin your day with a view of traditional Mexican folk art, stroll several hundreds yards and say “ciao” to a native Italian, and end the evening with a traditional Parisian meal with a view of the Eiffel Tower? If you think about it, this is actually a real money saver! You can visit eleven countries in one day without spending a dime on airfare!

2. Almost everyone is happy almost all of the time

Most Disney visitors are on some sort of holiday or vacation. And who is happier than people on vacation? Might you run into the occasional disgruntled guests and screaming child? Of course, but one call to the resort concierge wishing you a “magical day” can fix that in a heartbeat! And the best part is, if you aren’t happy, someone wants you to be happy, and will do anything they can to make you happy. I’m sure you can’t say as much for the employees at your local DMV.

1. Disney is good for your health

Due to the induction of extreme happiness and the reduction in stress you will feel while on property, Disney will lower your blood pressure. All of the extra walking you’ll be doing around the parks can be a great cardio workout. Moving to Disney may help you live a longer, healthier life! And who can say no to that?

See? We tried to warn you.
