4. Longer Hours
If you visit near the holidays you may actually be cutting your park time short. Unless you plan to purchase an additional ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you will be required to leave Magic Kingdom hours before the normal closing time in order to accommodate Christmas party guests. In January, regular operating hours resume for the main parks. The only downside: waterpark hours are limited during all winter months because it’s considered the off season.
