Before COVID-19 took hold, Epcot’s newest nighttime spectacular was scheduled to debut later this year. Disney announced “HarmonioUS” is set to be one of the largest nighttime spectaculars ever created for a Disney Park. While we have yet to learn of a debut date, we were thrilled to see photos shared showing the construction progress for HarmonioUS… meaning progress is in fact being made despite Disney’s current hold on nighttime entertainment.

An image shared by @bioreconstruct Twitter notes: “Center screen raised upon a barge for new HarmonioUS show. Spotlights can be seen on perimeter, matching art in EPCOT Experience. Is it ringed inside with water nozzles for a circular projection screen? Consider the effect of wind on flat video screen this height.”

In another tweet you can really get an understanding of the size of the circular screen. @bioreconstruct shares the following photo with the note: “Top of the center circular screen of HarmonioUS seen above treeline from the Caribbean-Rivieria leg of Disney Skyliner.”
Excellent photos and information thanks to Bioreconstruct Twitter. We simply can’t wait to experience Epcot’s newest nighttime spectacular!
