Disney Fixes Major Guest Complaint Ahead of Jollywood Nights 2025

Last year, Jollywood Nights was supposed to be Disney’s sleek, sophisticated answer to traditional holiday parties—and while it had style, it also had one major flaw: not enough time. Guests were vocal about it, and now, Disney is stepping up to make things right.

Early Entry Is Finally a Thing

The biggest complaint from 2024? Guests weren’t allowed into Hollywood Studios until 7:30 p.m., leaving only five hours to do, well… everything. From shows to snacks to shopping, it just felt like a sprint from the moment the party began.

For 2025, Disney is finally fixing that. Guests will now be able to enter the park as early as 5:30 p.m., giving everyone a couple of bonus hours to breathe a bit. That early access means time for a ride or two, a relaxing dinner, and a chance to get settled before the party officially kicks off.

When Is Jollywood Nights Happening?

Here are the confirmed dates for 2025:

  • November: 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29

  • December: 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 22

It’s still a limited run, but with these updates, expect a whole new level of demand.

What Else Is New?

In addition to that key schedule shift, Disney is also adding some new magic. Guests will get to meet Miguel from Coco in a newly-themed Latin holiday area, and two fan-favorite shows from last year will be back: The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure and Unfairly Ever After—a delightfully wicked villain show.

There’s also new merchandise, seasonal treats, and special apparel on the way. And don’t worry, fan-favorites like Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, Glisten!, and the Nightmare Before Christmas sing-along are all returning too.

Ticket Info You Need

Disney Resort guests (and those staying at Swan, Dolphin, or Shades of Green) can snag tickets starting July 16. Everyone else can jump in on July 22. With the extended hours, you can bet these dates will go faster than last year’s.

Disney clearly heard the feedback loud and clear—and this year’s improvements might just give Jollywood Nights the staying power it’s been chasing.

Andrew Boardwine

A frequent visitor of Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, Andrew will likely be found freefalling on Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or enjoying Pirates of the Caribbean. Over at Universal, he'll be taking in the thrills of the Jurassic World Velocicoaster and Revenge of the Mummy
