The Worst Disney World Restaurants Guests Demand Disney Kill Off in 2025

Disney World builds its reputation on magical experiences. Families expect thrills from rides, jaw-dropping shows, and snacks that are just as iconic as the attractions. Churros, Mickey-shaped pretzels, and ice cream bars shaped like ears have become essentials for parkgoers.

Dining, however, isn’t just about snacks. Guests want full meals that live up to the magic of the experience. And while Disney has some restaurants that deliver, others fall so short that they’ve earned the dreaded title “worst spot on Earth.”

Dining Wins Worth Celebrating

Before diving into the disasters, it’s only fair to spotlight the restaurants that keep fans coming back. Roundup Rodeo BBQ makes families feel like toys in Andy’s backyard while serving plates piled with barbecue. 50’s Prime Time Café turns dinner into a playful performance with comfort food that tastes like home.

EPCOT’s San Angel Inn Restaurante charms with candlelit meals by the Mexico pavilion’s indoor river, and Liberty Tree Tavern feeds Magic Kingdom guests a Thanksgiving-style meal year-round. At Animal Kingdom, the Yak & Yeti Restaurant stands out for bold flavors and detailed theming. These places showcase Disney’s ability to blend atmosphere and food into something unforgettable.

Paradiso 37: A Letdown at Disney Springs

One of Disney Springs’ most visited restaurants, Paradiso 37, has long been a subject of criticism. Though it markets itself as a taste of the Americas, many diners walk away frustrated.

As one blunt review put it,

“It’s in a prime location in Springs and serves sub par Latin food along with laughably bad margaritas…Not a clue how this place has held on for so many years.”

Reports of overpriced dishes, odd portion sizes, and disappointing drinks dominate guest feedback. It’s a restaurant many fans say they wouldn’t miss if it closed tomorrow.

Pinocchio’s Village Haus: A Quick-Service Flop

Pinocchio’s Village Haus in Magic Kingdom should be a safe bet for families, but it often delivers the opposite. While the chance to watch It’s a Small World boats from the windows is cute, guests can’t ignore the food. Reviews point to poorly made pizza, bland pasta, and uninspired flatbreads.

One guest summed it up harshly:

“The world may be small, but your bill won’t be. Maybe it’s on purpose, so you’re reminded to wish upon a star for some real food someday.”

STK Steakhouse: All Price, No Payoff

Steakhouses are usually reliable, but STK at Disney Springs is the exception. Despite its trendy, upscale design, guests consider it one of the worst values on the property. Diners complain about overcooked steaks, lackluster sides, and rushed service.

One guest said,

“I’ll pay a lot for a good steak, but I paid a lot for garbage and mid (at best) service.”

In a place where steak is plentiful, fans find STK an embarrassment to the Disney Springs lineup.

Be Our Guest: Beauty Doesn’t Equal Value

Hyped as one of Magic Kingdom’s crown jewels, Be Our Guest Restaurant draws fans with its castle setting. The entrance builds excitement, but once inside, many say it feels like a cafeteria rather than an enchanted dining hall.

The food is the biggest offender—small portions, high prices, and bland dishes leave guests feeling cheated.

As one review explained,

“The theme of the entrance and waiting room was soooo good. We had our hopes up, and then we walked into the cafeteria, and it was a letdown. And the food wasn’t even above average. All that money spent, and for what?”

Sci-Fi Dine-In: Great Idea, Bad Reality

Hollywood Studios’ Sci-Fi Dine-In has one of Disney’s most unique concepts: sitting in cars under the stars while vintage sci-fi clips play. But guests say the food ruins the fun. Burgers are described as terrible, and some diners reported stomach aches afterward.

The seating setup divides the groups, and the movie loop becomes repetitive quickly. It’s a restaurant that looks great in theory but collapses in practice.

The Food Isn’t Always Magical

Disney thrives when it delivers immersive dining experiences alongside great food, but these restaurants often fall short. Fans spend hundreds of dollars and expect more than cafeteria meals or bland entrees.

Paradiso 37, Pinocchio’s Village Haus, STK, Be Our Guest, and Sci-Fi Dine-In continue to disappoint enough that some fans hope they vanish altogether. Until Disney makes bold changes, these restaurants will likely continue to hold onto their controversial reputations.

  1. The restaurant that was there before Paridiso was wonderful. The starter of the roasted garlic on the bread was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Time to go back to the way it was!!!

  2. The chinese restaurant in Epcot is also terrible. We don’t need big portions but this was nothing… we ordered noodles as a side, paid nearly 10 dollars for about ten noodles. By the way the staff is rude – whenever you have a reuquest they will deny it… we were annual pass holders in California and we have been to WDW before.. this restaurant was the worst!
