Three Fights in 15 Minutes: A Night of Terror at Magic Kingdom

A chaotic stretch of activity at Walt Disney World Resort led to an unusual cluster of law enforcement responses in the Magic Kingdom Park area, beginning late Monday night and continuing into Tuesday morning. Fans following real-time updates on social media watched as multiple battery calls came in rapid succession to the world’s most-visited theme park.

Three Incidents Reported Within 15 Minutes

The first call came in at 8:57 p.m. on November 24, when authorities responded to a report of “battery (unwanted touching or striking someone)” inside Magic Kingdom Park. Shortly after, the report was updated to reflect that the situation had shifted to a “verbal fight,” according to the X (formerly known as Twitter) account @WDWActiveCrime, which tracks police activity throughout Walt Disney World Resort.

A second battery call followed just nine minutes later, this time somewhere between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

The violent activity did not stop there. At 10:29 p.m., officers were once again called to the Magic Kingdom/Disney’s Contemporary Resort area for a fourth battery report:

Fifth Call on Tuesday Morning

The violent streak continued into the next day. At 11:43 a.m. on November 25, law enforcement returned to the same Disney Park area for yet another battery report, marking the fifth incident in less than 24 hours:

No further information was released about potential suspects or whether arrests had been made, and Walt Disney World Resort had not issued a public statement on any of the calls. Police reports may eventually clarify whether the events were isolated or part of a broader issue affecting the area surrounding the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
