X (formerly Twitter) account @WDWActiveCrime, which monitors and publishes police scanner traffic across Walt Disney World Resort, posted about the response:

🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 02/10/26 03:49 pm 🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: Disney's EPCOT #WaltDisneyWorld #Disney

The scanner report provided minimal details beyond the time and general location. While the post included a Google Maps screenshot that appeared to pinpoint the incident near Spaceship Earth at EPCOT's center, this is standard practice for publicly available call logs at Central Florida Disney parks rather than the exact location of the altercation.

Scanner monitoring accounts typically use central park coordinates for all incidents, regardless of actual location within the property. The true site of Tuesday's battery could have been anywhere within EPCOT's boundaries.

Walt Disney World Resort has not issued any public statement about the Tuesday incident. EPCOT continued normal operations with all attractions, restaurants, shops, and other offerings functioning without apparent disruption.

Individuals confirmed as involved in violent incidents at Disney parks typically receive trespass warnings and bans from Central Florida Disney Resort properties. These bans can last for years or become permanent, depending on the incident's severity.

Walt Disney World Resort security collaborates with the Orange County Sheriff's Department to handle criminal incidents and disturbances on property as discreetly as possible, minimizing impact on other guests. Security and law enforcement personnel work to resolve situations quickly and move parties involved away from public areas.

Most incidents at Walt Disney World Resort are resolved quickly without affecting broader park operations.
