Walt Disney World Resort's upcoming V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days event comes with a perk that effectively puts some of the most iconic characters in Disney history behind an Annual Pass requirement…and not every EPCOT guest will have access.
The Character Meet-and-Greet
On Thursday, Walt Disney World Resort revealed details about V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days 2026, including an exclusive character meet-and-greet running daily at the Magic Eye Theatre in EPCOT's Imagination! Pavilion. Annual Passholders of any tier can meet “some of Mickey Mouse's best pals” at the space from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. between May 1 and July 31, 2026.
The meet-and-greet is tucked just inside the Magic Eye Theatre building — to the right upon entry, immediately left of the Journey Into Imagination With Figment attraction queue, and just before the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival. Walt Disney World Resort did not specify which characters will be on hand, but “Mickey Mouse's best pals” typically points to Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck, and Daisy Duck. Mickey himself appears to have been intentionally excluded from the offering, though Disney has not confirmed that.
It's also worth noting that certain Annual Passholders may be blocked from entering EPCOT on select dates, which could affect access to the daily meet-and-greet even for those who hold a pass.
Other V.I.PASSHOLDER Summer Days Perks
The character experience is one piece of a broader set of Annual Passholder exclusives for summer 2026 at Walt Disney World Resort. Other confirmed offerings include an exclusive Annual Passholder Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion at the EPCOT World Showcase, a complimentary Toy Story (1995)-inspired magnet, an exclusive refillable popcorn bucket design, dining discounts, and exclusive merchandise.
