Disney Made It Impossible to Not Visit in 2027

If you are building a Walt Disney World trip for 2027 and trying to decide whether staying on property is worth the cost difference over an off-site hotel, the full picture of what resort guests get next year is now available and it includes something that has not existed before.

Disney has confirmed a new dining plan tier for 2027 called the Disney Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan. It joins the two existing plan options and is priced at $163.01 per adult per night for guests aged 10 and up, and $46.85 per child per night for guests aged 3 to 9. For a family of four with two adults and two young children, that is a number worth doing the math on before committing.

Here is what the new plan includes per night: two table service entrees with dessert at lunch and dinner, or a full buffet. One quick service meal, which covers an entree or a combo meal. One snack or non-alcoholic drink. And one resort refillable drink mug per person per package.

The beverage component has age-specific details. Guests under 21 can select one non-alcoholic beverage with each meal, with specialty options available for guests 10 and older, including artisanal milkshakes, fresh smoothies, premium hot chocolates, or soda, coffee, and tea where offered.

Guests 21 and older can choose either a non-alcoholic beverage including specialty options, or a single-serving mixed cocktail, beer, or wine where offered within their meal entitlement.

This plan does not replace the existing options. It is a new tier sitting alongside them.

The Rest of the Confirmed Perk Lineup for 2027

Beyond the new dining plan, the established resort hotel benefits return intact for 2027, and a few specifics are worth knowing before finalizing any booking.

The water park check-in day perk is confirmed for summer 2027. Disney introduced this benefit in 2025, giving each member of a hotel party admission to one Walt Disney World water park on their check-in day. It ran from May 26th through September 8th in 2026 and is coming back for the summer of 2027. Exact dates have not been announced.

Free transportation to and from the parks remains in place via buses, watercraft, the Monorail, and the Skyliner. One practical note on the Skyliner: it will be closed for its annual refurbishment from January 24th through January 30th, 2027. Guests whose trips overlap that window should know in advance and plan alternative transportation for those days.

The 30-minute early entry benefit gives hotel guests access to each of the four Walt Disney World theme parks 30 minutes before the general public every day of their stay, including check-in and check-out days. This applies across all Disney resort hotel tiers, from Value properties up through Deluxe.

Extended Evening Hours are available on select nights at select parks, offering two additional hours after the park closes to day guests. This benefit is exclusively available to guests staying at Deluxe tier resorts or Deluxe Villa properties. Value and Moderate resort guests do not qualify.

For booking windows, resort hotel guests can book Lightning Lane selections seven days out while non-hotel guests get three days. For Advance Dining Reservations, hotel guests can book 60 days from their check-in date for their entire trip of up to 10 days.

Non-hotel guests book 60 days from each individual day of their trip, which means they are logging in daily rather than securing everything in one window. For anyone who has tried to get a reservation at the most popular Disney dining spots, that difference is not minor.

Two Additional Dining Offers Worth Knowing About

Two more dining-related opportunities exist alongside the new plan for specific guest categories.

The first offers 20 percent off dining for children aged 3 to 9 when a guest purchases a package that includes a dining plan for the family. The second is aimed at guests traveling from the United Kingdom and Ireland, providing a free Disney Dining Plan discount for those who book a full-price Walt Disney World package that includes both hotel and park tickets.

The stay must be a minimum of five nights and a maximum of 21 nights at a participating resort, and the package must be booked by November 4th, 2026. Eligible arrival dates run from January 3rd through December 19th, 2027.

The One Perk That Is Not Yet Confirmed

Cool Kids' Summer is not confirmed for 2027. Disney ran the resort hotel programming event for two consecutive years, offering hotel-exclusive activities including scheduled character appearances with Mickey and Minnie, Disney Publishing libraries for children, pajama party story time events with Disney characters, pool parties with games and music, and campfire gatherings. Whether any version of this programming returns in 2027 has not been announced.

How to Use This Information When Planning

The 2027 perk lineup is the most complete tool available right now for guests evaluating whether to stay on property. The question is not whether the perks exist. It is whether the perks your family would actually use add up to enough value to justify the price difference between a Disney resort and an equivalent off-site hotel.

The early entry benefit is the most universally applicable perk and often the one that most dramatically changes what a family can experience each morning. Arriving 30 minutes before the crowds and heading directly to a priority attraction while waits are still minimal is a different vacation strategy than the one available to guests who arrive at standard opening time.

The dining reservation booking window matters most for guests targeting the most competitive restaurants, the ones that fill up in minutes when their 60-day window opens. For families who have specific dining experiences as trip priorities, hotel guest status removes a significant amount of stress from that process.

The Extended Evening Hours distinction is the one that most directly influences which resort tier is worth booking. If late-night park access matters to your family, that benefit is only available through a Deluxe or Deluxe Villa booking and the tier decision should account for it.

Start your 2027 planning by identifying which perks apply to the resort tier you are considering and deciding which ones your specific family would realistically use during your trip. The new Deluxe Table-Service Dining Plan is the most mathematically concrete addition to evaluate: price it against your family's expected table service dining frequency and compare it to paying out of pocket.

If you are traveling from the UK or Ireland, the free dining offer has a November 4th, 2026 booking deadline that is worth putting on your calendar now.
