Guests heading to the World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World with plans to bring home one of its most unique souvenirs are going to be disappointed…at least for now.
The Baby Troll Has Left Arendelle

Rúna, the interactive baby troll doll that quickly became one of the standout purchases in Disneyland Paris Resort's newest land, is currently sold out at the Fjord View Shop in the World of Frozen. The shortage was first flagged on May 12, when X (formerly Twitter) user @PixiedustDLP shared an official statement from Disneyland Paris Resort reading, “Rúna will be back soon. With the Snowflower Festival in full swing in Arendelle, all the Rúna who have come to take part have formed friendships with the villagers and visiting guests!”

Priced at €75 and sold exclusively at the Fjord View Shop near the Frozen Ever After attraction at Disney Adventure World, the baby troll doll is an experience in itself. It turns its head, opens and closes its eyes, wiggles its ears, responds to touch, and produces sounds, making it one of the more sophisticated interactive merchandise items available at any Disney park worldwide.
The purchase comes with its own ceremony. Disney cast members conduct a formal adoption ritual for every Rúna sold, and new owners walk away with a map of locations in the World of Frozen where their baby troll will respond and interact with its surroundings. The Rúna dolls have been available since the World of Frozen opened alongside the reimagined Disney Adventure World — formerly Walt Disney Studios Park — on March 29.
What Guests Can Do in the Meantime

The sellout affects Rúna specifically, not the Fjord View Shop as a whole. The retail location remains open and stocked with other World of Frozen merchandise, giving guests visiting Disney Adventure World plenty to browse while the troll dolls are out of stock. Anyone with a Disneyland Paris Resort trip coming up should check with Disney cast members on arrival for availability information.
