At 11:31 p.m. on June 15, the Orange County Sheriff's Department received a 911 call reporting a stolen vehicle in the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Contemporary Resort area. Scanner monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime logged the response on X (formerly known as Twitter):

The Google Maps pin attached to the alert places the incident in the general Magic Kingdom and Disney's Contemporary Resort corridor rather than a precise location — a standard limitation of how 911 calls at Walt Disney World Resort are typically logged.

Because Magic Kingdom Park's main parking lot is located across the Seven Seas Lagoon at the Transportation and Ticket Center rather than adjacent to the park itself, the stolen vehicle report most likely originated from the parking area at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Still, that has not been officially confirmed.

Neither Walt Disney World Resort nor the Orange County Sheriff's Department has released any information about the incident. Additional details may surface if criminal charges are filed in connection with the report.

No Disruptions to Walt Disney World Resort Operations

The late-night stolen vehicle call has resulted in no reported disruptions to operations at Magic Kingdom Park or in the Disney's Contemporary Resort area. All roadways into Walt Disney World Resort are open, and parking areas at both Disney's Contemporary Resort and the Transportation and Ticket Center remain accessible.

Guests with concerns about their vehicles during a Walt Disney World visit should seek out a security or parking cast member. Both are stationed throughout the lots at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Disney Springs.
