Newly released footage appears to show a teenager falling down the final drop of Disneyland's Tiana's Bayou Adventure after exiting a ride vehicle.
The video, obtained by TMZ, relates to an incident that took place at Disneyland Resort on June 21. According to Disneyland officials, a 13-year-old guest exited a log vehicle before the attraction had ended.

The incident drew widespread attention after witnesses reported seeing a guest leave the ride and fall down the attraction's climactic drop. Until now, those accounts had not been publicly verified on video.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure opened at Disneyland in November 2024, replacing Splash Mountain. The attraction, based on Disney's The Princess and the Frog, features a 50-foot drop and has become one of the park's most popular rides.
Newly Released Footage Shows the Incident
TMZ published footage this week that appears to show the teenager descending the attraction's final drop outside of a ride vehicle.
The outlet reported that the guest “hopped out mid-ride and [fell] down the famous 50-foot waterfall.”
Disneyland officials previously said a cast member stopped the attraction after noticing the teenager had exited the log.

The guest then continued through part of the attraction before being assisted by cast members.
Witnesses who discussed the incident online said the ride was halted shortly afterward. Some guests reported seeing emergency responders arrive near the attraction.
The Anaheim Fire Department responded to the scene, and the teenager was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
Officials later confirmed that he was evaluated and released.
Ride Reopened Following State Inspection
Following the incident, California's Division of Occupational Safety and Health inspected Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Disneyland said the attraction reopened after the inspection and resumed normal operations.
Officials have not indicated that the ride experienced a mechanical failure.
Statements from Disneyland and local authorities have consistently described the incident as involving a guest who exited the attraction before the ride had concluded.
The release of the footage has renewed attention on the incident, which quickly spread across social media and Disney fan communities following reports from guests who witnessed it firsthand.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure continues to operate at Disneyland Park.
