Annual Passholders have a little more freedom heading into August.
Disney has released the first Good to Go Days for the month, giving eligible Walt Disney World Annual Passholders the opportunity to visit the parks without making a park reservation beforehand.
The newly added dates are August 2, August 3, and August 9, continuing Disney's gradual expansion of reservation-free days throughout 2026.
It's a relatively small update, but one that many frequent visitors have been waiting to see.
Making Park Visits More Flexible
Good to Go Days were introduced as a way to simplify the planning process for Annual Passholders.
Rather than requiring reservations every day, Disney designates certain dates when eligible Passholders can simply head to the parks without booking ahead of time.
The program doesn't change blockout dates, and admission is still subject to capacity. Even so, it gives Passholders much more flexibility than they had when reservations were required for nearly every visit.
For guests who enjoy deciding on a park day at the last minute, that's a significant benefit.
Disney Takes Care of Existing Reservations
Another advantage is that Passholders don't have to make any changes if they already reserved one of these dates.
Disney automatically removes reservations that fall on newly announced Good to Go Days.
The reservation history remains visible inside My Disney Experience, but it no longer counts against the reservation limit, freeing up space for future plans.
It's one of those behind-the-scenes conveniences that makes the system easier to use.
Afternoon Visits Stay Reservation-Free
Good to Go Days aren't the only way Passholders can avoid making reservations.
Disney still allows eligible Annual Passholders to enter the parks after 2:00 p.m. without a reservation on most days.
Magic Kingdom remains the exception on Saturdays and Sundays, but otherwise the policy gives Passholders another flexible option for shorter visits.
That combination of afternoon entry and Good to Go Days has made spontaneous trips much easier than they once were.
Summer Continues to Bring More Good to Go Days
Disney has consistently expanded the Good to Go calendar throughout 2026, adding reservation-free dates month after month.
The arrival of the first August dates suggests the company will likely continue evaluating attendance before announcing additional opportunities later in the season.
For now, August 2, 3, and 9 are officially available for eligible Annual Passholders looking to visit Walt Disney World without the extra step of making a reservation.
As summer begins winding down, these added dates give Passholders another chance to enjoy the parks with a little less planning.
