Disney Parks fans are calling for Walt Disney World Resort to take action after a viral TikTok video showed a man preaching a Christian sermon at the Magic Kingdom. The behavior directly violates the official code of conduct for the Central Florida Disney vacation destination.
Preaching at Magic Kingdom

Over the weekend, TikTok user @jonathan.perde shared a video of himself stepping onto the edge of a raised flowerbed at Magic Kingdom Park to share a message about Jesus Christ. As thousands of Disney Park guests walked through the bustling Cinderella Castle hub, the TikToker who says he's “not afraid to be bold” preached a Christian sermon:
@jonathan.perde THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS FOREVER✝️ Instagram: Jonathan.perde YouTube: Jonathanperde TIKTOK: Jonathan.perde Snapchat: Jonathan.perde #jesus #love #repent #gospel #reels
“Hello, everybody,” the man began. Hey, I want to let you guys know that this might be a Magic Kingdom, but this is only a temporary Magic Kingdom.
Some guests walked away, while others tuned into what the man was saying. Within seconds, a security cast member approached and started instructing him to get down.
“There is one kingdom that will be forever, and the way to get to that is by Jesus Christ,” the man continued. “He died on the cross for you so that you could be saved. God bless you, guys. Repent and believe in the gospel. Sin wants to destroy you, but Jesus has come to bring life.”

The guest finally complied with the security guard, stepping off the edge of the flowerbed.
“Let's go,” he concluded. “Praise God.”
The security cast member walked away after the TikToker got down, so it's unclear whether he faced any consequences from Walt Disney World Resort. However, many Disney Parks fans who saw the video believed he should have.
Disney Parks Fans Respond

“Should be a lifetime ban honestly,” said @sparkle_swamp.
“As a pastor, I would be pissed!” @jamesallen321 replied. “Not the place or time.”
Some defended the guest's behavior.

“Why does everyone try to stop people from spreading the gospel?” @ilovecerberus08 asked.
“Every where is the place to talk about JESUS” @daisythehikingfrenchie agreed.
Still, others argued that some commenters would be less welcoming if the man were not a Christian.

“Imagine if a Muslim did this,” @meagolasgreentea wrote. “How is this ANY different.”
What the Rules Say

While it's unclear whether this TikToker faced consequences from Walt Disney World Resort for his outburst, he definitely broke the Central Florida theme park's rules. The official code of conduct prohibits:
- Unauthorized events, speeches, or use of any flag, banner, sign or other material for commercial purposes, or as part of a demonstration.
