A late night at Walt Disney World can give guests a completely different experience from a typical day in the parks. Smaller crowds and shorter waits can make those extra hours especially appealing when some of Disney’s biggest rides are involved.
That option will be back in 2027.
Disney After Hours is returning to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios with dozens of dates stretching from January through August. Disney has also revealed event hours, expected attraction lineups, and prices.
The good news is that guests have plenty of nights to choose from. The bad news is that getting through the gates will cost more in 2027.
And at Magic Kingdom, the most expensive tickets will cross the $200 mark.
After Hours Prices Are Climbing Again
Magic Kingdom will carry the highest Disney After Hours prices in 2027.
In 2026, Magic Kingdom tickets ranged from $175 to $199. For 2027, prices increase to $189-$209. The starting price rises $14, or 8%, while the maximum increases $10, or roughly 5%.
EPCOT and Hollywood Studios also get higher starting prices. Both started at $155 in 2026, then increased to $159 in 2027.
The 2027 prices break down as follows:
- Magic Kingdom: $189-$209
- Hollywood Studios: $159-$199
- EPCOT: $159-$189
For a group of four, those numbers add up quickly. Four Magic Kingdom tickets at the $209 maximum cost $836 before tax, with the final total approaching $900 after taxes.
Regular Disney Tickets Are Reaching New Highs, Too
After Hours isn't the only part of a Walt Disney World vacation that carries a higher price tag.
Based on regular admission currently available through October 2027, one-day adult tickets can reach $219 at Magic Kingdom. EPCOT reaches $214, Hollywood Studios tops out at $209, and Animal Kingdom reaches $189.
There are cheaper dates available. Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios currently go as low as $139, EPCOT reaches a low of $129, and Animal Kingdom starts at $119 during the available period.
The amount guests actually pay depends on when they visit.
Resort accommodations can add hundreds of dollars per night, while guests who purchase Lightning Lane access incur another vacation expense.
With those costs already adding up, the new After Hours prices give families another number to consider when building their 2027 budgets.
Magic Kingdom After Hours Runs Through July
Magic Kingdom gets 19 After Hours dates in 2027.
Events take place January 11 and 18; February 1, 8, 15, and 22; March 4, 8, and 15; April 5, 12, and 26; May 17 and 24; June 14, 21, and 28; and July 15 and 19.
The event runs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., although After Hours ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom beginning at 7 p.m.
Expected attractions include TRON Lightcycle / Run, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Haunted Mansion, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Peter Pan’s Flight, and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.
Hollywood Studios Gets the Most Dates
Hollywood Studios will host 21 events, beginning January 16 and continuing through August 25.
Other dates include January 27; February 13 and 24; March 13, 17, and 24; April 7, 24, and 28; May 19 and 26; June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30; July 5, 12, and 26; and August 4.
Most events run from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. The April 24 event runs from 10:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m. Guests can enter at 7 p.m.
Expected rides include Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania!, Alien Swirling Saucers, and Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets.
EPCOT Keeps After Hours Going Into August
EPCOT has 15 dates: January 21; February 18; April 1, 15, and 22; May 6 and 13; June 3 and 12; July 8, 22, and 29; and August 7, 12, and 19.
Events run from 9:30 p.m. until 12:30 a.m., with entry beginning at 7 p.m.
Expected attractions include Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, Test Track presented by General Motors, Soarin’ Across America, Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Mission: SPACE, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros.

The Extra Hours Now Come at a Bigger Cost
After Hours can still be attractive to guests who value smaller crowds, shorter waits, and additional nighttime hours inside the park.
The question for 2027 is how much those benefits are worth.
Magic Kingdom now starts at $189, an 8% increase from its $175 starting price in 2026. On the most expensive nights, admission reaches $209 per person.
For four people, that means $836 before tax and a total approaching $900 afterward.
That turns Disney After Hours into a significant vacation expense rather than a small add-on, leaving guests to decide whether shorter waits and extra park time justify another major addition to an already expensive Disney trip.
