Pixar Place Hotel Pool Closure Hits September Disneyland Trips
Disney’s official pool page confirms two separate refurbishment windows. The pool and spa are listed as closed from September 8 through September 19, while Crush’s Surfin’ Slide and the splash pad are unavailable from September 8 through September 25.
There is one wrinkle in Disney’s notice: the refurbishment banner currently refers to the “Paradise Pool” and “Paradise Spa,” legacy naming from the property’s former Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel identity. On that same official page, Disney describes the current Finding Nemo-inspired area as featuring the Pixel Pool and identifies Nemo’s Cove and Crush’s Surfin’ Slide among its amenities.
The naming discrepancy doesn’t change the planning issue. Guests traveling during the affected dates should not assume the hotel’s advertised water recreation will be fully available. Disney labels these closures as refurbishments, meaning they are temporary operational changes, not permanent removals.
