Christmas may feel far away, but some Walt Disney World guests have already secured their place at one of the resort’s biggest holiday celebrations.
Others may soon discover they waited too long.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom for select nights throughout November and December. While most dates remain available, another party has now officially sold out.
And this one makes the final week of the event much harder to plan.
Two of the Final Three Parties Are Gone
December 20 has officially sold out for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
It joins November 24 and December 22 as the three dates that have reached capacity so far.
The December sellouts are particularly important for guests hoping to visit immediately before Christmas.
December 22 is the final Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party scheduled for 2026. With December 20 also unavailable, December 18 is now the final party night that guests can still purchase tickets for.
That means anyone specifically targeting the end of the season has just one remaining choice.
For families with flexible travel dates, that may not create much of a problem. For those already booked for a late-December Walt Disney World vacation, however, options are quickly disappearing.
Earlier Dates Remain Available
The entire event isn’t close to selling out yet.
Guests still have 11 available November dates: November 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 25, 27, and 29.
There are also

December 11 options remaining: December 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 17, and 18.
That means guests who simply want to attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party still have plenty of opportunities.
The bigger concern is for visitors who need one particular date.
Once a party reaches capacity, guests have to choose another night or miss the event altogether.
Party Tickets Come With Early Magic Kingdom Entry
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party officially begins at 7 p.m., but guests don’t have to wait until then to enter Magic Kingdom.
Party ticket holders can enter beginning at 4 p.m.
That gives visitors three hours inside the park before the special event officially starts, which can be useful for guests who aren’t purchasing regular park admission that day.
Tickets cost between $189 and $229 depending on the selected date.
Children ages 3 through 9 receive a $10 discount, while eligible Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can receive special pricing.
Even with discounts, the party represents a significant additional expense for families already paying for hotels, transportation, food, and other parts of a Walt Disney World vacation.
That hasn’t stopped three dates from reaching capacity months before Christmas.
The Calendar Is Starting to Shrink
The first three sellouts provide an interesting look at where demand is developing.
November 24 went first. Then December 22 disappeared. Now December 20 has followed.
Most dates between those events remain available, giving guests plenty of flexibility if their vacation schedules allow it.

But late-December visitors don’t have nearly as much room to maneuver.
December 18 is now their final available opportunity before two consecutive sold-out parties close the 2026 season.
There’s no guarantee it will be the next date to sell out, but guests who specifically want that final available party may not want to assume tickets will remain available indefinitely.
Christmas crowds haven’t arrived at Magic Kingdom yet.
The race for some of the most desirable party dates, however, is already well underway.
