Law enforcement was called to the EPCOT area at Walt Disney World Resort twice in under 12 hours, first after dark on Wednesday and again on Thursday morning. Both calls were logged as battery, according to publicly available scanner information.
Wednesday Night Near the Hotels

The Orange County Sheriff's Office took the first 911 call at 11:35 p.m. on October 7. Law enforcement monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime posted the details on X (formerly known as Twitter):
🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 10/7/26 11:35 PM
🚨: Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone) at 📍: EPCOT Resorts Boulevard Resort Area

By that point, EPCOT had been closed for more than two hours, since 9:00 p.m., so the park itself was not the setting of the emergency response. The report fell under the “EPCOT Resort Area,” a zone that takes in Disney's Beach Club Resort, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts (owned and operated by Marriott), Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Riviera Resort.

The Google Maps image attached to the post marks a spot near Crescent Lake, reachable via a walkway linking several of those Disney Resort hotels. The sheriff's office frequently uses that address as a stand-in for calls in the area, though, so the true location of the battery incident is uncertain.
Thursday Morning Inside EPCOT

At 10:23 a.m. on October 8, a second call came in about “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone).” @WDWActiveCrime shared:

This one was connected to EPCOT proper. The map pin on the X post lands at the main entrance, a generic address used for the second Walt Disney World Resort theme park. The precise location within EPCOT where the incident occurred hasn't been made public.
What Remains Unknown

Who was involved in either incident hasn't been disclosed, and it's unclear whether anyone was badly hurt or asked to leave the property. Walt Disney World Resort and the Orange County Sheriff's Office haven't commented. A published police report or criminal charges could eventually provide more information.
Operations at EPCOT seemed to continue normally on Thursday, October 8. Central Florida Disney Park guests can proceed with their vacation plans as scheduled.
