November 17 just sold out for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom.
Five nights gone. Twenty left.
And now there are enough data points to see exactly what is happening.
Some context.
Here is what has sold:
- November 12. $189. Cheapest tier.
- November 17. $189. Cheapest tier.
- November 24. $204. Thanksgiving week.
- December 20. $229. Most expensive tier.
- December 22. $229. Most expensive tier.
Read that list again.
The two cheapest nights are gone. The two most expensive nights are gone. Everything in between is still sitting there.
That Is a Barbell, and Here Is Why
Two totally different groups are buying, and they want opposite things.
- The bargain crowd grabbed the $ 189-night deals. They are picking a date based on cost, period, so the floor cleared out first.
- The Christmas week crowd grabbed the $ 229-night rate. They are already at Walt Disney World, December 20 through 22, and they are paying whatever the number says because they are standing right there.
- The middle, everything from $194 to $219, is neither cheap nor prime. There is no reason to specifically want those nights. So nobody specifically wants them.
The dates that serve nobody's actual motivation are the ones left on the board.
There Is Exactly One Cheap Night Left
Three dates sat at the season floor of $189.
November 9. November 12, gone. November 17, gone.
So November 9 it is. Monday, early November, $179 if you have an Annual Pass.
That is the cheapest possible way into this party all season and there is one single date of it. If price is what you are optimizing for, that is your answer, and you should probably stop reading and go buy it.
Opening Night Is Still Available, Which Is Genuinely Weird
November 8. $199, or $189 with a pass.
Still on sale.
This was the first date to sell out in 2024. It was the first date to sell out in 2025. This year, five other nights beat it out the door, and it is still sitting there in October.
Opening night is the superfan purchase. You buy it months ahead because you want to be at the first one. That crowd has not materialized this year. Bargain hunters and Christmas week families absolutely have.
Make of that what you will.
Passholders, Your Discount Dies December 3
Clean cutoff, worth knowing:
- Discount dates run November 8 through December 3. Eleven total.
- Nine are still open.
- After December 3, zero discounts. Including every single $229 night.
So the real Passholder spread looks like this:
November 9 at $179. December 20 at $229, no discount available.
Fifty bucks. About 22 percent. Identical party, identical parade, identical fireworks.
What Is Left, Cheapest to Priciest
- November 9: $189 / $179
- November 13, 15, 19: $194 / $184
- November 8, 20: $199 / $189
- December 1: $209 / $199
- November 29, December 3: $214 / $204
- November 25: $209, no discount
- December 6: $214, no discount
- November 27, December 4, 8, 10: $219, no discount
- December 11, 13, 15: $224, no discount
- December 17, 18: $229, no discount
Kids 3 to 9 knock $10 off any date, which stretches further on the cheap nights.
Do Not Get Comfortable With “20 Nights Left”
Last year, every single date sold out by November 19.
It is October 9.
So last season, the entire calendar emptied in roughly six weeks from where we are standing, at the same $229 ceiling. Five of 25 is behind that pace, sure, but the back half of this selling window historically moves fast. A few more November dates fall and the rest tend to go with them.
The Thing Nobody Mentions About the Price
The party starts at 7:00 p.m. But your party ticket gets you into Magic Kingdom at 4:00 p.m.
Three bonus hours.
On a $189 night, that is about eight hours in the park, three of them normal operation and five of them at reduced ticketed-event capacity. Suddenly, the cheap dates look a lot less expensive.
Same Show Regardless
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration. Seasonal entertainment, characters, and free treats.
Nobody gets a better parade for paying $229.
Go Book It
Online or by phone. Disney says availability is limited and tickets may not be sold on the day of the event or earlier.
Five dates in, take them seriously on that.
