Duffy is finally getting a character breakfast.
The Duffy and Friends Bon Voyage Breakfast starts October 15, 2026, at the Hollywood Spotlight Club aboard the Disney Adventure. Characters come to your table. Disney Cruise Line Singapore's video shows Duffy and LinaBell, though appearances can change.
And every guest gets a special pin.

That Pin Setup Is the Entire Business
You pay for breakfast. You receive exactly one pin. You now know, with certainty, that you own an incomplete set.
And look at who this is aimed at. Duffy and Friends fans are not casual shoppers. This is a franchise held up by people who buy the seasonal costume, the matching keychain, and then a second plush wearing a different outfit.
Tell that crowd their pin collection is incomplete, and you are not making a suggestion. You are closing a loop.
Disney is not selling breakfast here. Disney is selling piece one of a set.
For Americans Wondering Why Duffy
Fair question. In the US, Duffy is basically wallpaper. A teddy bear Minnie made for Mickey, a modest merch display you walk right past.
Everywhere else, Duffy is massive.
In Japan, especially at Tokyo DisneySea, Duffy and Friends move serious merchandise, with seasonal costume drops that people genuinely plan trips around. LinaBell blew up in China after joining the lineup at Shanghai Disney Resort.
None of it came from a movie. It came from plush and collectibles, and it made these characters some of the most commercially important figures Disney has in Asia.
Now. The Disney Adventure sails out of Singapore.
So this is not a bold creative choice. This is the single most obvious character decision on the table.
And It Counts for More on This Ship
The Adventure runs three and four-night sailings from Singapore, and right now those trips are nothing but days at sea. Zero ports.
Langkawi, Malaysia, is on the way. Not here yet.
So the ship is the destination, full stop. No island day. No excursions. No port to fill a morning for you. Every single hour of value has to come from onboard.
A character breakfast on a ship that stops at Castaway Cay is a nice option. A character breakfast on a ship with no ports is actual itinerary.
Disney Already Had the Rest Built
This is not Disney testing the waters. This is Disney finishing a job.
The Adventure launched with a dedicated Duffy and Friends store and a whole stage show called Duffy and the Friend Ship.
Retail. Entertainment. Now dining.
Three touchpoints is not a character appearance. That is a strategy, and the infrastructure went in first.
Why Plush Characters Are Perfect for This
Quick note on why this pairing works better than it looks.
Duffy and Friends do not talk. They are soft, round, and built entirely around being hugged rather than having a conversation.
For table-side stuff with little kids, that is about ideal. A face character has to hold a voice, stay in story, and manage actual dialogue across dozens of tables for an entire meal service. A plush character has to show up and be warm.
Character breakfasts live or die on whether every table gets a moment. These characters are engineered for that.

Do the math on a three or four-night cruise with one venue. Whoever opens the Navigator app during embarkation is eating with Duffy. Whoever gets around to it on day two is probably not.
Book it the second you are on the ship. Not after lunch. Not after you unpack.

The Disney Adventure spans seven themed areas, featuring Broadway-style shows, deck parties, fireworks at sea, and meet-and-greets drawn from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel.
