Universal Confirms Massive 70% Discount, but Only Select Visitors Have Access

An impressive 70% discount just hit Universal Orlando Resort. The offer gives eligible visitors a chance to save hundreds of dollars. However, the deal comes with a restriction that excludes many guests.

A trip to Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure can already come with a hefty price tag. Between admission, dining, hotel stays, and other vacation expenses, any opportunity to save money is welcome.

Now, Universal is offering a select group of guests an unusually generous offer at a location that recently underwent a major change.

And while the savings are substantial, visitors will need more than a regular theme park ticket to take advantage of them.

Universal Orlando Annual Passholders Get More Than Park Admission

Annual Passholders already enjoy several benefits that make frequent visits to Universal Orlando more rewarding.

Universal offers different pass levels, each providing its own collection of perks. Depending on their membership, passholders can receive discounts on food, merchandise, hotel stays, and special events.

Premier Passholders also receive Universal Express access after 4 p.m. at participating attractions inside Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, subject to restrictions.

That benefit can make a major difference for visitors who want to experience popular rides without purchasing Express separately.

Universal also occasionally introduces special promotions exclusively for its passholders.

These offers can include additional merchandise discounts and other opportunities that regular ticket holders cannot access.

However, one current shopping promotion stands out because of just how much money guests can save.

And its location makes the deal even more interesting.

A Closed Universal Orlando Ride Makes Way for a Different Experience

Universal Studios Florida permanently closed Fast & Furious: Supercharged in August 2026, removing an attraction that had welcomed visitors for years.

Although the ride no longer operates, Universal has found another use for part of its former space.

The resort recently relocated its Annual Passholder-exclusive merchandise store to the former attraction area, giving eligible shoppers a new place to browse discounted products.

Instead of experiencing Fast & Furious: Supercharged, visitors can now head to the location for a completely different reason.

Universal is offering 70% off merchandise throughout the store, creating significant savings compared to regular retail prices.

For example, a souvenir normally priced at $50 would cost just $15 before taxes.

Something priced at $100 would drop to $30.

Those savings are especially attractive to guests who regularly purchase Universal merchandise or want to buy several gifts during a single visit.

Even more surprising, some products aren't exclusive clearance items. Shoppers can find merchandise that other Universal Orlando stores continue selling at regular prices.

That price difference makes the exclusive location worth checking before purchasing souvenirs elsewhere.

Universal Orlando Shoppers Are Finding Huge Savings

The store carries a variety of products, including shirts, tumblers, cups, magnets, lanyards, collectible pins, plush toys, figurines, and other merchandise.

With so many different items available, passholders have plenty of opportunities to find something worth bringing home.

The savings can add up quickly.

A collection of souvenirs totaling $150 at regular prices would cost approximately $45 with the 70% discount, excluding taxes.

During our visit, we discovered just how significant the difference could be.

We purchased a Grinch tumbler for approximately $12 at the discounted location.

Meanwhile, the same tumbler was available for around $40 at Cats, Hats, & Things inside Islands of Adventure.

That's roughly $28 in savings on one purchase.

For families buying multiple souvenirs, those differences could make a substantial impact on their spending.

The promotion also arrives ahead of the holiday season, allowing eligible shoppers to purchase gifts at non-typical theme park merchandise prices.

Of course, available products may change as shoppers purchase discounted inventory.

What Passholders Should Know About the 70% Promotion

Universal Orlando Resort hasn't provided a confirmed end date for the discount in the information available.

That means passholders interested in shopping should avoid assuming the promotion will continue indefinitely.

Guests visiting Universal Studios Florida can check the former Fast & Furious: Supercharged area before purchasing merchandise at other locations.

While Annual Passes already offer several valuable perks, this particular promotion provides an opportunity for substantial additional savings.

And considering our $12 Grinch tumbler was selling for approximately $40 elsewhere, the difference is certainly worth noting.
