Mickey and the Magician is heading into hiatus at Disneyland Paris Resort. The European Disney park has set January 10, 2027, as the final performance before a major refurbishment, and the Animagique Theater will be off-limits to guests starting the next day.
The Date Is Finally Set

Back in the summer, Disneyland Paris Resort announced that the Animagique Theater would undergo a “major” overhaul in early 2027. The venue is located in the World Premiere Plaza section of Disney Adventure World, formerly known as Walt Disney Studios Park. Until now, no closing date had been given.
This week, Disneyland Paris Resort updated the show's official webpage to state that the theater will be inaccessible beginning January 11, 2027. The 30-minute award-winning musical will give its last performance on January 10.

How Long Will It Stay Closed?

Disneyland Paris Resort hasn't announced when Mickey and the Magician will return. The refurbishment is expected to take several months, so guests visiting in the spring may find the theater still closed.
The show's webpage reassures travelers that other entertainment will carry on:
“During this time, there will still be plenty of shows and entertainment to enjoy across both Disney Parks. Check the Disneyland Paris Mobile App before your visit to discover the programme for your specific visit date.”
What Work Is Planned?

The European Disney park hasn't shared what the refurbishment of the Animagique Theater will involve. Guests walking through World Premiere Plaza during construction may notice plywood barriers, scrim fabric, and rerouted pathways near the Animagique Theater.
For fans who want one more look at Mickey's magical adventure, the clock is ticking. With roughly eleven weeks until the final curtain, now is a good time to plan a visit, and checking the Disneyland Paris Mobile App for showtimes before heading to Disney Adventure World is a smart move.
