Disney+ is filling its November schedule with returning favorites and special programming, but one highly anticipated release could steal much of the attention.
The streaming service has confirmed that a popular fantasy series will return later this month, bringing familiar characters back for another adventure while welcoming several major additions to the cast.
Disney has also shared a trailer teasing what viewers can expect from the next chapter.
For fans who have waited to see more of the story unfold, the upcoming premiere brings plenty of reasons to get excited.
And with several other releases arriving throughout November, subscribers will have more than one show to add to their watchlists.
Disney+ Confirms November 20 Premiere
Percy Jackson and the Olympians officially returns for Season 3 on November 20, 2026, continuing the adventures of Rick Riordan's young demigod.
Disney will release two episodes on premiere day, with additional installments arriving afterward.
This time, the series will adapt The Titan's Curse, the third novel in Riordan's original book collection.
The story continues following Percy Jackson as he navigates a world where Greek gods, monsters, and ancient mythology are very real.
Walker Scobell will once again portray Percy, while Leah Sava Jeffries returns as Annabeth Chase and Aryan Simhadri reprises his role as Grover Underwood.
Charlie Bushnell will also return as Luke Castellan, alongside Tamara Smart as Thalia Grace.
Disney's trailer offers a preview of the challenges awaiting the characters as the story progresses through Riordan's mythology.
For readers familiar with the books, the adaptation also means several important characters will finally make their television debuts.

New Characters Bring More Greek Mythology to Disney+
Season 3 isn't simply bringing back the same familiar group.
Disney has confirmed several cast additions, including two characters who play important roles in The Titan's Curse.
Levi Chrisopulos will portray Nico di Angelo, while Olive Abercrombie takes on the role of his sister, Bianca di Angelo.
Their introduction will bring new relationships and complications into Percy's growing world.
The upcoming season will also feature several recognizable performers portraying figures from Greek mythology.
Ming-Na Wen joins as Hera, Jennifer Beals will play Demeter, and Hubert Smielecki will portray Apollo.
Meanwhile, Kate McKinnon will appear as Aphrodite, and Holt McCallany will take on the role of Atlas, the powerful Titan.
These casting decisions allow Disney to expand the series beyond its established characters while exploring more of the mythology that made Riordan's novels popular.

Percy Jackson Is Also Reaching Netflix
Disney is taking another approach to introducing audiences to Percy Jackson and the Olympians before its November premiere.
Through a licensing agreement with Netflix, the first two seasons became available on the competing streaming service beginning October 4.
The arrangement lasts three months, giving viewers a limited opportunity to catch up before Season 3 releases on Disney+ and Hulu.
Meanwhile, Disney is exploring another adaptation of Riordan's books.
The Kane Chronicles, which follows Egyptian mythology rather than Greek mythology, is being considered for a live-action Disney+ series.
Riordan is working with Angela Robinson on the project, and Disney has commissioned sample scripts.
However, the company has not officially approved production or announced a release date.
For now, the project remains in development rather than becoming a guaranteed addition to Disney+'s future schedule.

Disney+ Has Several Other November Releases
Although Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a major part of Disney's November lineup, subscribers can expect several other additions.
Season 2's new episodes of Pokémon the Series: The Beginning will release on November 11.
On November 17, Disney+ will introduce Season 1 of How the Tudors Lost Their Heads, offering historical programming for interested viewers.
The 60th Annual CMA Awards will air live November 18 at 8 p.m. ET, bringing country music entertainment to the platform.
Then, on November 25, Big City Greens returns with new Season 5 episodes.
Together, these releases offer subscribers a mix of animation, history, and live entertainment.
Still, November 20 could be particularly exciting for Percy Jackson fans. With another beloved novel reaching television and several new characters joining the adventure, Season 3 has plenty to offer longtime viewers.
