How to Plan Your Walt Disney World Trip in 10 Fool-Proof Steps

5. Reserve Fastpass+ at 60 (or 30 days)

At some point prior to 60 days out, go to mydisneyexperience.com (or get the app for your device) and put in your reservation and ticket numbers.  All your plans should pop up, including any dining reservations you have.  At 60 days out (if you’re staying onsite) or 30 days otherwise, make your Fastpass+ reservations for each of your park days.  This will allow you to skip the lines at your 3 favorite attractions.  *Bonus tip: If you arrive at the parks early, you can access even more short lines, allowing you to experience several attractions with little to no wait.  You can also do online check-in for your Disney hotel and order your Magic Bands, which will function as your room key, fastpasses, charging privileges and ticket media.
