Have a Magical Day: 15 Tips for Tackling The Magic Kingdom In a Single Day

14. Early Start

Simply put, the earlier you arrive, the quicker you get to enjoy your day at the park. Arriving early typically allows two things, enjoying the opening ceremony at the castle and beating a great portion of the crowds to some of the more popular rides and attractions. If you haven’t seen the opening ceremony, go see it. Nothing gets the day started better than a magical introduction from Mickey and all his friends as they let the magic begin. If you have seen the ceremony, high-tail it to one of the big-name rides such as Space Mountain or the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. These rides fill up incredibly fast, some even getting two hour wait times. Don’t panic, this can be taken care of if one is smart, punctual, and makes an orderly trek to the desired ride.
