Southern California Disney Park guests who showed up at Alien Pizza Planet in Tomorrowland on Thursday, May 21, found something they hadn't seen at the Quick-Service pizza and pasta spot since before the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown: an in-person ordering line. The shift came after Disneyland Resort quietly removed the standard Alien Pizza Planet Mobile Ordering page from its app on Wednesday, May 20.

In place of the old Mobile Ordering setup, Disneyland Resort introduced the Alien Pizza Planet Express Mobile Order program. The new system narrows Mobile Ordering at the location to family-style meals only. Currently, that means two options: a Whole Pepperoni Pizza Family Meal and a Whole Cheese Pizza Family Meal. Both include a 16-inch pizza, fountain drinks, side salads, and breadsticks.

How to Order Everything Else

Guests who want individual servings of pizza, pasta, salads, sides, drinks, or other single-meal items will need to place those orders in person at kiosks inside the restaurant, then complete their purchase at separate check-out lines. The family meal packages are the only offerings eligible for Mobile Ordering through the Alien Pizza Planet Express program on the Disneyland Resort app.

This change is specific to Alien Pizza Planet. Mobile Ordering for individual meals remains fully available at other Quick-Service dining locations throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure Park, and the Downtown Disney District. Guests can find the complete list of participating restaurants through the Disneyland Resort app.

A Long Time Coming

Alien Pizza Planet has been a Mobile Order-only location for the better part of five years, operating that way since Disneyland Resort reopened following its pandemic closure in 2021. Thursday's shift marks the first time in-person ordering has been a standard option at the Tomorrowland spot in recent memory.
