At Disneyland Paris, change is happening across nearly every part of Walt Disney Studios Park as it moves toward its future as Disney Adventure World.

The shift, powered by a multibillion-euro investment, reaches from architecture to attractions, reshaping the park into a collection of immersive lands inspired by Disney stories. Guests can already spot construction zones, refreshed pathways, and the removal of the original park entrance sign as the resort prepares for the official debut on March 29, 2026.
One of the most anticipated additions is World of Frozen, opening the same day the park completes its rebrand. Arendelle is taking shape with the rising North Mountain and the recognizable ice palace perched high above. When the land opens, guests will find a boat ride inspired by Frozen Ever After, a fjord show, character greetings with Anna and Elsa inside their castle, an Olaf animatronic designed for close interaction, and a village filled with shops and dining.

Yet Frozen is only the beginning. The updated park will include Marvel Avengers Campus, Worlds of Pixar, the waterfront setting of Adventure Bay, and a new central promenade called Adventure Way. This landscaped route connects the themed zones and introduces new food stops and attractions, including one based on Tangled. Work has also begun on a Lion King-themed expansion, which will grow the park even further.
While fans wait for these changes, another experience is set to arrive earlier. In celebration of the European premiere of James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025), Disneyland Paris is launching a new Avatar attraction. The announcement came from Helene Etzi, President of The Walt Disney Company France & GM Média, who shared her excitement following the film’s special event.

“A huge and sincere tribute to James Cameron and the exceptional team of the film who made the trip: Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Bailey Bass, Trinity Bliss, Jack Champion, Britain Dalton and David Thewlis,” she wrote online. “Their presence and generosity made this event magical for their French fans.”
Etzi highlighted a key moment of the celebration: “Among the most memorable moments, how can we not mention the breathtaking show of 3,700 drones that drew spectacular tableaux in the Parisian sky to the original music of Simon Franglen! A breathtaking performance, which will be available in Disneyland Paris from December 13 to 17!”

Avatar: Fire and Ash, arriving December 19, 2025, turns its attention to the volcanic territories of Pandora, home to the Ash People. Jake Sully, Neytiri, and their family step into a chapter centered on the emotional cost of their past. Cameron’s story examines cycles of conflict, generational trauma, and the complexity of Na’vi culture as new clans and landscapes appear across Pandora. Despite its scope, the film keeps its focus on family and the search for belonging.
Disneyland Paris now stands on the edge of a new chapter—one shaped by storytelling, large-scale worldbuilding, and lands designed to place guests directly inside the narratives they know.
