Law enforcement was called to the EPCOT Resort Area at Walt Disney World Resort on Thursday afternoon after a report that a dispute had turned physical. The call was logged as a battery, and it came from one of the Disney Resort hotels within walking distance of the park.
The Scanner Report

The Orange County Sheriff's Office took the call at 1:10 p.m. on October 15, classifying it as “Battery (Unwanted Touching or Striking Someone).” Central Florida law enforcement monitoring account @WDWActiveCrime shared the details on X (formerly known as Twitter), writing:
🚨 Police Alert 🚓 – 10/15/26 1:10 PM

The EPCOT Resort Area covers several hotels: Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney's Beach Club Resort, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts (operated by Marriott), Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney's Riviera Resort.

The scanner entry, however, specified EPCOT Resorts Boulevard, which points to the properties that can be reached on foot from the park. Guests of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort need the Disney Skyliner to reach EPCOT, so it's unlikely the incident occurred at either resort.
The Google Maps image attached to the post places a pin in the middle of Crescent Lake. That is almost certainly not where the 911 call originated. Law enforcement frequently logs responses in this part of Walt Disney World Resort under that same address, so the precise location remains unknown.
What We Don't Know

It hasn't been made clear how many people were involved, whether anyone was seriously hurt, or whether those involved were Disney cast members or guests. Walt Disney World Resort hasn't issued a statement about the incident. More details could emerge if a police report is published or criminal charges are filed.
