1. Holding Hostages
In June of 2000 a domestic dispute led to a man holding a waiter and his own child hostage in a Boardwalk resort room. Guests occupying surrounding rooms were moved to different accommodations during the standoff. Eventually the man released the hostages and was promptly arrested.
