We previously shared the beautiful news about the Cast Member Pantry – a food bank for Cast Members struggling with the furlough situation. Their mission… Cast Members lifting up fellow Cast Members during this difficult time. Now, Cast Member Pantry has shared they will be working to support those impacted by the recently announced Disney layoffs.
As shared on the Cast Member Pantry Facebook page: “Lots of questions coming our way! As many of you know we are working to serve cast members affected by furloughs and reduced hours from COVID-19 with bags of groceries. We will now be including those that are impacted by layoffs as well, and will have an adjustment to our current process to ensure that cm’s impacted by layoffs will have access to our services.
Thank you to all who continue to support our mission. Without the community of love we have seen none of this would be possible.”
Another post from October 1 goes on to share: “Big news to share in the coming days… Anaheim, CA you are not forgotten in all of this.”
