Orlando Magazine just shared this year’s recipients of their annual awards program and a number of Walt Disney World restaurants made the cut! Each year, Orlando Magazine awards local restaurants based on 20 picks from their food editor and readers’ choice awards in 44 additional categories. This year, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ in Disney Springs received the Readers’ Choice award for best Southern restaurant in Orlando.
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is a favorite restaurant for many Guests visiting Disney Springs especially for the menu inspired by Chef’s interest in Southern cooking as well as Homecomin’s very popular weekend brunch options. Southern homestyle cuisine is certainly what Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is most known for, and we always hear from Disney Guests how the restaurant is a must-do for their delicious fried chicken.

One of the most popular times to dine at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is for their “Rise ‘n Shine Brunch.” Brunch at this Disney Springs staple includes both sweet and savory selections from Chef’s expertly crafted Southern-style brunch menu. For Guests ages 21 and over dining during brunch, a full set of specialty cocktails just for brunch including signature moonshine craft cocktails.
Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, with lunch and dinner served daily all right in the Town Center neighborhood of Disney Springs.
Like nearly every Walt Disney World Restaurant, especially while the resort is still in the process of reopening, we strongly recommend making advance reservations to dine at Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’.
