Chris Pratt is a popular actor known for his versatile roles in both blockbuster movies and television shows. Born on June 21, 1979, in Virginia, Minnesota, Christopher Michael Pratt grew up in a small town called Lake Stevens in Washington state.

Pratt’s acting career took off when he landed the role of Andy Dwyer in the hit TV show Parks and Recreation in 2009. His portrayal of the lovable and goofy character made him a fan favorite and put him in the spotlight.
However, it was his role as Peter Quill, also known as Star-Lord, in Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) that catapulted him to international fame. Pratt’s natural charisma and comedic timing endeared him to audiences, making him an integral part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Pratt, not one to shy away from using his influential voice was an instrumental reason why Marvel chose to continue on with director James Gunn for their popular Guardians franchise. As well, Pratt has been vocal regarding his political beliefs, as well as his faith, which has rubbed some fans the wrong way.

Slated for release in May, actor Christ Pratt, who has worked with notable Hollywood greats like Chris Evans, Amy Poehler, and Nick Offerman, will join MCU counterpart Samuel L Jackson in Sony Picture’s Garfield.
This new animated take on the Jim Davis character will also feature notable names such as Nicholas Hoult (Renfield), Ving Rhames (Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2), and Hannah Waddingham (Hocus Pocus 2).
As 2024 is set to be a banner year at the box office and the world awaits to see what happens with popular MCU characters Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), and Gamora (Zoe Saldana), the new Garfield film will have to hold us over.
