Disney World Confirms an ALL-NEW Christmas Attraction This Season

Walt Disney World Resort is gearing up for an exciting and magical holiday season, packed with events and activities that will get every guest into the festive spirit. From thrilling shows to holiday treats, each of the parks will feature its own unique way to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year. Let’s take a look at what’s in store this season at Disney!

EPCOT’s Holiday Extravaganza

For fans of cultural celebrations, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is back and better than ever. Running from November 29 through December 30, 2024, the festival will showcase the holiday traditions of various countries around World Showcase. Storytellers from different cultures will entertain guests with tales of holiday customs, while the ever-popular Holiday Kitchens offer mouth-watering seasonal dishes from across the globe.

The Candlelight Processional, one of EPCOT’s iconic holiday events, will feature a fresh lineup of celebrity narrators, including Ralph Macchio and Nico Santos. This moving retelling of the Christmas story is accompanied by a massive choir and orchestra, making it a holiday staple for many families.

Animal Kingdom’s Unique Holiday Offerings

Animal Kingdom is going wild with holiday fun this year! Beginning on November 12, 2024, guests can join the Merry Menagerie at the Tree of Life, where wintry animal puppets will roam, creating special photo-worthy moments. As night falls, the Tree of Life Awakening will enchant visitors with a stunning holiday-themed light show.

A brand-new experience at DinoLand U.S.A. this year is Santa Claus’s appearance at the Dino Institute Holiday Party. This fun, family-friendly location will allow visitors to meet Santa while enjoying the holiday spirit in a whole new setting.

Hollywood Studios Brings the Nostalgia

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is embracing the holidays in its own unique way, transforming into a glamorous and festive space. Starting November 12, the Sunset Seasons Greetings light show will take over the Hollywood Tower Hotel, featuring delightful holiday scenes starring the Muppets, Toy Story characters, and more. Toy Story Land will also be decked out in festive decorations, and characters will be greeting guests in their holiday outfits.

If you’re a fan of Frozen, don’t miss the Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, which will have a special holiday finale. Olaf will be joining in to spread some seasonal cheer, making this a great event for the whole family.

Magic Kingdom’s Festive Fun

Magic Kingdom, as always, will be full of holiday magic, from the festive decorations lining Main Street, U.S.A. to the spectacular transformation of Cinderella Castle during the Frozen Holiday Surprise. Guests can watch Elsa and her friends light up the castle, turning it into a dazzling icy palace for the holiday season.

And, of course, what would the holidays at Magic Kingdom be without the return of the Jingle Cruise? This seasonal overlay of the Jungle Cruise brings holiday-themed jokes and decorations to the beloved attraction, offering plenty of laughs for guests of all ages.

Disney Springs and Beyond

Disney Springs is not to be missed this holiday season! The popular Christmas Tree Stroll returns, featuring beautifully themed trees that showcase some of Disney’s most beloved films and franchises. Guests can enjoy nightly snowfall while shopping or dining, adding to the festive atmosphere.

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you’ll also be treated to elaborate gingerbread displays and stunning Christmas trees in the lobby, creating the perfect photo opportunity.
